Hi, I am so sorry to hear of the passing of this man.  You may want to contact me.  About 4 years ago, I helped a young lady who had been adopted discover her birth parents.  It turned out that her father was Thomas's brother, Robert Franklin Trammell, and her mother was Ann-Nell Byrd of Florida.  The two had a relationship back in 1965, and the baby was born in August 1966.  Ann-Nell did not want to keep the baby, so she gave it up for adoption.  Anyway, the young woman contacted the Byrd family, but they wanted nothing to do with her.  I think that jaded her, so she no longer wanted to contact the Trammell family (Robert, of course, had been dead for several years).   I often wished she had.  I wonder if Thomas would like to have known his long-lost niece before he died.   I believe Thomas had children, so if any of you are interested in contacting your first cousin in Florida, let me know and I will get the information to you.  FWIW, Robert Trammell offered to marry Ann-Nell and be a father to his little daughter.  She refused, so he  never had a chance.
