Treasure Bouvy Charlan

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Treasure Bouvy Charlan, 76, will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, November 10, 2017 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel, with burial in Fort Jackson National Cemetery. Mrs. Charlan passed away Thursday, October 26, 2017. Born on June 2, 1941 in Santa Monica, California, she was a daughter of the late Jack William Bouvy and June Sasusia Bouvy. Treasure attended Midlands Technical College and worked in sales for 7 years at JB Whites at the Richland Mall. She married her husband in 1961. She loved dancing, reading and the beach. Surviving are her husband, George J. Charlan; daughters, Cyndi Eakin (Mark), Pat Stephens (Joey), and Sherry Whisenant (Robert); son, Lance Charlan; six grandchildren; and brother, William Bouvy.
