Wanda Sarvis Prince

COLUMBIA - A funeral service for Wanda Sarvis Prince, 79, will be held at 12:30 p.m. Monday, January 27, 2025 at Suber Marshall Memorial United Methodist Church, with burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive friends 11:30 until 12:30 pm prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Prince died peacefully on Thursday, January 23, 2025 surrounded by her family and friends. Born in Charleston, SC, she was a daughter of the late Hyman M. Sarvis and Lucille Dutton Sarvis. She was an active member of Suber Marshall Memorial United Methodist Church. Wanda was a faithful employee and retired after 36 years of service with the South Carolina Department of Transportation as Assistant Director of Human Resources.

Surviving are her husband, Clifford Danny Prince, daughter, Tesa Prince Griffin (Tommy), son, Clifford Danny Prince, Jr. (Tabitha), grandchildren, Kelsie Griffin Jeter (Alex), Thomas Hunter Griffin (Samantha), and Emily Prince, sister, Jean Watts.

In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her sister, Gwendolyn Ulmer and Linda Canady, and brothers, Robert Sarvis and William James Sarvis.
