COLUMBIA William Franklin Cone, 79, died Wednesday, September 10, 2014. He was born in Lodge, S.C. to the late Atward Jerome Cone and Iris Helena Bishop. Frank graduated from Lodge High School in 1952 and attended Clemson University. After serving three years in the Army Medical Corps, Frank was a lab analyst at Allied Signal until he retired in 1994. He was a very intelligent man and could do almost anything. Frank is survived by best friend, Randy Evans of Columbia; a son, Bobby Blansett, two grandsons, Andrew Blansett and Evan Blansett, all of Texas; and a brother, Atward Eugene Cone of Lexington. A viewing will be held 6:00 until 8 p.m. on Friday, September 12, 2014 at Dunbar Funeral Home, Devine Street Chapel. Interment will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, September 13, 2014 at Carter’s Ford Baptist Church Cemetery in Lodge, S.C.
