Alfred "Leo" Sorel

Alfred was born on December 4, 1928 in Worcester, MA son to the late Claude and Phillipia Sorel. Alfred was a proud Marine Corp Veterans having served in the Korean War, as well as having participated in the Chosin Reservoir action.

Alfred performed many types of jobs throughout his life, and gained a wide variety of skills. He was with Edgcomb Steel as an Electrical Engineer for over 25 years when he retired.

Alfred is survived by his wife, Matilda Dorothea Sorel (Helmholtz), and his sons, Leo A. Sorel and Arthur C. Sorel, as well as four stepdaughters, Brenda, Rayleen, Mary, and Sally. He also leaves behind numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, August 26, 2022 at 1:30pm at NH Veteran's Cemetery, 110 Daniel Webster Highway, Boscawen, NH.
