He was born in Franklin on February 13, 1931 the son of Onil and Mary (Roulx) Dube.
After returning from 4 years in the Navy during the Korean War,
Andy received his Bachelors’ Degree from UNH. During his time in college, he was an outstanding hockey player. Andy enjoyed sports. He loved skiing, skating, golfing and football.
Before school started, when his stepdaughter Lisa was in grammar school, he would get the neighborhood kids out for a rousing game of kick the can.
He was the eternal optimist, and always had a smile for everyone. The people in his life that he cared about, he always wanted to see them happy. Andy loved people and was always forgiving. He enjoyed animals, and loved taking Lisa’s dog, bandit for a walk.
Andy was employed for 22 years as a loan officer with the Small Business Administration. Prior to that, he was an agent for the Internal Revenue Service in Berlin. Following his retirement, he and his wife Millicent lived for eleven years in Port Charlotte, Florida in a golf community. They loved playing golf with lots of friends. before returning to Concord.
He and his wife were longtime parishioners of Christ the King Parish in Concord.
Andy is survived by his wife of 58 years, Millicent (Buber) Dube of Concord; his stepdaughter, Lisa Chomack of Chichester; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street on Monday, December 10 from 9am to 10:30am with funeral prayers at 10:30am. The committal service will be held at Saint Kieran Cemetery in Berlin in the Spring of 2019.
