

Ann Marie (McDonald) Dugan 75, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2015. Born in Glace Bay, Nova Scotia, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Evelyn (McPherson) McDonald. Ann lived in Marblehead, MA for many years before moving to Danbury, NH in 1975. She enjoyed working at Colby-Sawyer College for 20 years. She was a devoted wife and beloved mother. Members of her family include; her husband of 52 years James and her three children; Linda Rosenthall and her husband Gene of Sutton, James Dugan Jr. and his wife Carleen of Ell Dorado Hills, CA and Carolyn O’Brien and her husband Scott of Concord; her beloved grandchildren; Rachel, Liam, Colin, Caleb and Cassidy; and her sister Judy Monteiro with whom she shared a special bond; and several nieces and nephews. Ann also had many friends and we will all miss her wonderful smile and great sense of humor. She was predeceased by her brothers Angus and Alexander (Alex) and her sister Marguerite “Doll” MacIntyre.
Ann was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church in Potter Place.
A memorial gathering will be held on Saturday, February 7, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord. A celebration of life will follow at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel.
