Ann E. Gould

Annie Elizabeth Gould, age 92, died on Sunday, September 15, 2013 at her home at Horseshoe Pond Place in Concord NH.

She was born on February 26, 1921 in Revere, MA, the daughter of Fannie (Blanchard) and Jessie Sawyer.

Ann, as her family and friends knew her, was raised in Revere, MA where she attended local schools.

She was married to Joseph J. Maccioli in March of 1937. Due to his declining health, they moved to Claremont, NH in 1960.

In addition to being a homemaker, she worked as a nurse’s assistant at the Sullivan County nursing home in Unity, NH.

Ann had an adventurous spirit, a hearty sense of humor and a love of life.

Her family members include: 4 children, Marie (Christopher) Lombardi, Joseph (Melva) Maccioli, Ronald (Kathie) Maccioli and Diane (Ken) Lurvey; a sister, Esther Nadeau; 12 grandchildren, 25 Great Grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her first husband, Joseph Maccioli in 1968, and later by her second husband, Morris Gould; two children, Carol and Robert Maccioli; a brother, Victor Sawyer and two sisters, Mary Nelson and Jessie (June) Crenshaw.

Visiting hours will be held from 5-8pm on Thursday, September 19, 2013 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, NH.

A funeral service will be held at 11:30am on Friday, September 20, 2013 at the Old Saint Mary’s Church, 39 Plains Rd., West Claremont, NH, followed by a procession to Saint Mary’s Cemetery for a burial.
