Beverly A. Follansbee

Beverly Ann Hobson Follansbee, 95, of Concord, New Hampshire, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2026, in Concord. She was born in Concord on April 2, 1931, and lived most of her life there, with the exception of a brief time spent in Missouri.

Beverly was the beloved matriarch of a large and loving family. She devoted her life to her family and was a woman who could always be counted on. She was feisty, independent, strong-willed, and had a wonderful twinkle in her eye. She was loved by all who knew her and leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, strength, and family.

Beverly proudly served her country as a United States Marine, stationed in Hawaii for three years. She later worked at Beede Electric and Sprague Electric and served as an aide at Merrimack County Nursing Home and the Odd Fellows Home, now known as Presidential Oaks. She also spent time caring for other people's children, always finding ways to help and care for those around her.

Beverly enjoyed the simple pleasures of life. She loved gardening, reading, swimming, and playing cribbage, which was her favorite game. She had a particular fondness for the color red. Most of all, she loved her family. Her home and heart were always filled with the people she loved, and her family was the center of her world.

Beverly was predeceased by her beloved husband, Reginald C. Follansbee Jr.; her children, Reginald C. Follansbee III and James Lee Follansbee; her daughter Pamela Radomsky; and her son Richard Follansbee.

She is survived by her children: Donald and his wife, Donna; Russell; Michael Jerome and his wife, Ellen; Ruth Ann Palitka and her husband, Andrew; Robert Harry and his wife, Deborah; Gloria Jean; Terry Paul and his wife, Susan; Lloyd Thomas and his wife, Joan; and Regina Marie and her husband, Bryant. She also leaves many grandchildren and several great-grandchildren, along with countless family members and friends whose lives she touched.

Beverly's life was a testament to the strength of family and the importance of caring for others. She will be remembered for her independence, her feisty spirit, her generous heart, her love of family, and that unmistakable twinkle in her eye.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, at 1pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, Fisherville and Sewall Falls Rd, Concord NH.

She will be deeply missed and forever loved.
