Hilda was born on August 7, 1929 in Heindorf Czechoslovakia, the youngest of 5 children. She grew up during World War II, which brought her to Germany. There she met her husband, Robert Rodeheaver, who was serving in the U.S. Army. They were married in 1959.
Hilda and Robert enjoyed traveling around the United States with their family while Robert served in the Army, eventually retiring from the military to settle in Colorado Springs, Colorado. After living in Colorado for 30 years they moved to Concord, New Hampshire where they enjoyed the beauty of New England.
One of Hilda's proudest accomplishments was becoming a U.S. citizen. She enjoyed gardening, fishing, and camping. Hilda also loved attending Oktoberfest, listening to Polka music and appreciated a cold beer.
Hilda was predeceased by her husband, Robert, who passed away in 2006.
