
Carol was born in Watertown, NY, on December 20, 1937, the daughter of the late Vernon and Florence (Clemens) Emerick. She has been a resident of Stuart, Florida since 2003.
Prior to her retirement, Mrs. Stamp was employed by the Concord School District where she was a teacher working with special needs students.
Mrs. Stamp was an avid volunteer with The American Red Cross, Salvation Army and numerous other organizations. She enjoyed doing crossword and jigsaw puzzles. Mrs. Stamp also liked riding her bike. She enjoyed family outings with her grandchildren playing cards and she had a spirit of adventure.
Members of her family include; her husband, Walter R. “Bob” Stamp, Sr., of Stuart, FL; a son, Walter R. Stamp, Jr., of Chichester, NH; four daughters, Sherry Smith, of Gilford, NH; Pamela Gelette, of Merrimack, NH; Beth Duclos, of Canterbury, NH; Becky Stamp, of Weare, NH; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild, many nieces and nephews.
SERVICES: Calling hours will be Friday, January 17, 2014 from 4:00 – 7:00 PM at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, in Concord. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, 11:30AM at Trinitarian Congregational Church, 72 Elm Street, N. Andover, MA. Committal prayers and interment will follow at 1:00 PM at Ridgewood Cemetery, in N. Andover, MA.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Salvation Army, 58 Clinton Street, Concord, NH 03301 or to The American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110, in memory of Mrs. Stamp.
