Catherine Rita Rose

Catherine was a devoted wife to her husband, Robert, and a cherished mother to Cathy, Peggy, Robin, Billy, and Stacy. She was known for her strength, warmth, laughter, and contagious smile. Catherine left a lasting impression on everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Her love for her grandchildren and great-grandchildren was immeasurable, and she shared a special bond with each of them.

Catherine was predeceased by her parents, Timothy and Diana (Perry) Cook; her siblings, Timothy, Robert, Frances, Adeline, Joan, and Diane; and the love of her life, her husband, Robert D. Rose.

She is survived by her five children: Cathy Vera of Concord, NH; Peggy Atwell (Scott) of Haines City, FL; Robin Atwell (Jeff) of Boscawen, NH; William Atwell (Merilee) of Hampton, NH; and Stacy Wojtkiewicz (Jeff) of Boscawen, NH.

She also leaves behind her eleven grandchildren: Nicole, Frank, Shannon, Paul, Melissa, Amanda, Shawna, Robert, Kayleigh, Codey, and Morgan; and her great-grandchildren: Giavanna, Payton, William, Bentley, Braydon, Frankie, Broderick, Amya, and Lydiah.

Catherine is also survived by her brother, John Cook (Jean) of Andover, NH, along with many nieces, nephews, and longtime friends who will remember her with great love.

Visitation will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, NH, on March 21, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm, followed by a Chapel Service at Bennett Funeral Home on March 21, 2026, from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
