An engineer by trade, he had a long and successful career developing telecommunications infrastructure domestically and abroad. His talents were varied. Before becoming an engineer, he studied music and continued to play throughout his life.
He was a skilled sailor who navigated the coasts of Maine and New Hampshire and led kayaking expeditions to neighboring islands. He was a good steward of nature who volunteered his time to help make the region more accessible to others and who instilled in his family a love and respect for the outdoors.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jean and their children, Lee, Sarah, and Elizabeth; his grandson Leon; his sister Marilyn; and a close-knit circle of friends who had surrounded him for decades. He is deeply missed by all who loved him.
A viewing will be held at Bennett Funeral Home located at 209 N Main Street in Concord, New Hampshire on Monday, June 29 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. followed by a funeral service at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family encourages donations to the Hooksett Food Pantry.
