

David Michael Hvizda, a proud Italian/Czech American, coal cracker, red tornado, and Ironman, passed away on June 23 at the age of 73 in Concord, NH. He leaves behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength and resilience.
Born on March 4, 1950, David grew up in Mount Carmel, PA, where he attended Mount Carmel Area High School. He graduated with the class of 1969, fostering lifelong friendships and unforgettable experiences along the way. Including some of his proudest accomplishments as a Football player and track athlete. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, David studied English at East Stroudsburg University with the class of 1973.
Throughout his life, David dedicated himself to hard work and perseverance. He found fulfillment in his career at Walmart, where he faithfully served for 18 years until his retirement. His commitment and dedication were recognized by colleagues and customers alike.
David was a loving and proud father to his son, Michael Hvizda, and a brother to his sister, Diane Neff. His family held a special place in his heart, and he treasured the memories made together.
Preceded in death by his parents, Michael Hvizda and Florence Hvizda, David's memory will forever be cherished by those who knew and loved him. He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his warm heart, and his unwavering determination in anything he put his mind to.
In accordance with his wishes, David will be cremated. A celebration of life will be held later this summer in his beloved hometown of Mount Carmel, PA. This gathering will serve as an opportunity for family, friends, and loved ones to honor and remember David, sharing stories and finding solace in one another's company.
David Michael Hvizda will be deeply missed but never forgotten. His spirit will continue to inspire and guide those who had the privilege of knowing him. May he find eternal peace and may his memory be a blessing to all who hold him dear.
