Deborah A. Clarke

Born December 3, 1951, she was on the only child of Frederick N. and Doris L. (Charbonneau) Clarke, Jr. She grew up in Concord and spent summers at the family camp on Webster Lake in Franklin. She graduated from Concord High School in 1970. Upon graduation, she worked for the State of New Hampshire – Motor Vehicle Division. She was employed by Patsy’s GMC for 20 years. She left employment to become a full-time caregiver for her mother for almost 10 years and, upon her death, her father for another 5 years.

She is survived by the love of her life and companion of 25 years, Scott J. Stebbins and his sons Sean Stebbins of Newmarket, NH and Gabrielle Sanborn of Concord, NH, the extended Stebbins family, Uncle Richard Clarke in Arizona and several cousins. She is predeceased by her parents and close Aunt Betty Chandler.

She and Scott enjoyed dividing their time between the camp on Webster Lake in Franklin, NH and their home in The Villages in Florida. She easily made acquaintances wherever she traveled and enjoyed spending time with friends and family. Her sense of humor will be missed by all who have known her. Her days will now be filled by playing cribbage again with Fred and paving the way for family and friends who look forward to seeing her again.

At Deb’s request, there will be no calling hours. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, May 1, 2012 at the Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 180 Loudon Road, Concord, NH.

Interment will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in East Concord.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 2 Commerce Drive, Suite 110, Bedford, NH 03110 or the charity of one’s choice in her memory. The Bennett Funeral Home of Concord is in charge of the arrangements.
