Jay and Lindsey, I only recently learned of your Mom's passing, I am very sorry for the delay in sending this note.  You will probably remember me from Concordia Lutheran Church in Concord where my Dad was pastor for many years.  Your Mom was a big part of our church life there and she was always very kind and friendly to everyone.  I remember how she enjoyed singing in the church choir and she was always so full of life and energy.  My mother, Barbara, and I wanted to let you know how sorry we are for your loss and let you know we are thinking of you.  We have many wonderful memories of your mother and will always remember her with much love.

I'll always remember your mom's brilliant personality and her love of the kids around her....especially both of you!  I had lots of fun watching all those little league games with her and sharing volleyball at the Y. She has left her legacy as one great lady, mom and grandmother.
Heaven has gained one beautiful angel.  My deepest sympathy.

I don't know if this appropriate or not, but I'll say it anyway.  I feel honored to have been present at Debi's tribute and memorial service Friday night.  We all left Bennett's Friday night feeling full of joy for Debi and Bill and Lindsey and Jay knowing that the life they shared was a great one. We were all very touched by the many stories shared by friends and family.  And with the music choice at the end of the service there was not a dry eye anywhere.  You have wonderful memories of Debi.  May you find comfort in those memories.  God Bless!

I am so saddened for your loss. There are now words to describe how much she will be missed. Having Lindsey as a best friend growing up came with the added benefits of her amazing family. Debbie was not only the life of the party, a positive role model for us girls but the most suportive and kind person I know. I still hear her voice in my head with her distinct voice saying "Oh Linz" and it instantly bring the waterworks. She leaves a beautiful footprint on us all and I will always cherish those memories.

Lindsey & Jay, We are so sorry to hear about your mom.  I will never forget the laughs with Deb on the volleyball court at the Y way back when.  More laughs than playing!  It was just as much fun to watch soccer games with her too.  We will be thinking of all of you during this time.

I have been friends with Debi since we were 4 or 5 years old. I was fortunate to have spent lots of the wonderful childhood she talks about with her. My father called her "Peanut" and Peanut and I had so many adventures.  Life brought us in many directions,  but  she never failed to contact me on my birthday even though it was difficult for her, as her beloved Daddy passed on my birthday.  I always contacted her on her birthday which she shared with her Daddy.  She has taken a piece of my heart with her and replaced it with a piece of her heart to me. I know we will always be soul sisters and it comforts me. Debi was a beautiful, cute, athletic, loving woman who adored family and always found time to talk with friends.  Joe and my thoughts and prayers have been with her and her family since we knew of her illness. Love to all her family and Debi rest in peace.  Love always Lynn (Johnson) and Joe LaBontee.

I'm so grateful for his having introduced us at your 3 Jan event at the Blazer.  I graduated from CHS with your mom, but we only caught up with each other at reunions. We are saddened to learn of Deb's passing.  We have known her for a long time and have shared many memories.  After high school we only saw her occasionally but always had fun catching up and reminiscing.  She was a wonderful person and very proud of her children. Thirty years ago, we moved to NH and joined a group of people playing volleyball. Deb greeted us, loved us and made us feel as though we were the only people in the world. She had that magic. We noticed that she had that magic with children too. She loved kids, all kids, but her children were the center of her world. When we had our children, the older kids stayed with her and we never worried because we knew they were in the most wonderful loving arms ever. We are so grateful that she was in our life, so grateful to know she has such wonderful children who are now fantastic adults and sorry that we have to be without her. Our hearts and prayers are with all those who love her.

Lindsey, even though we only met your mom 3-4 times at the Red Blazer I felt like I knew her all my life. She always talked about your daughter you and your brother. She loved her whole family very dearly! She will be missed by all, but her suffering has now ended. Lindsey and Jay,  So sorry to hear of your moms passing. I can't think of "Aunt Deb" without smiling. She was such a morale support for me during my time of sorrow and I don't know how I would have gotten through it without her. She made me laugh when I felt like crying. She knew what to say and when to say it. I know in my heart she's in a better place and I find solitude knowing our Debs are together again. (I just hope they behave themselves).
