Doug and I lived a few blocks from each other and spent countless hours together when we were in elementary and junior high school. I have so many good memories of him and want Ken, Julia and Linda to know how saddened I am to hear of your loss.

Was really sad to hear of Doug's passing.  He was a pleasure to meet and get to know over the course of the nine months I volunteered at Boston Free Radio. His love of radio, music and his tireless dedication to those of us who came after him.

Doug was a member of The Concord High School Drama Club, when I taught at Concord High School. He played in our award winning production of A Midsummer Night's Dream. I remember him as a bright, sensitive, compassionate, young man. I am so glad to know that he used his creative power, which was considerable, after his graduation from CHS. I am grateful that at a young age,  he found his voice, and kept right on singing.  George Kelly

I met Doug towards the beginning of my time at SCAT.  I didn't know him well but I liked seeing him around and knew him to be a good guy.  Very sorry to hear about this.

It was my pleasure to have known Doug and to have interviewed him on our SCATV show "Greater Somerville".  His passion for his work, talent, gentle demeanor and his friendly manner made a lasting impression on me and others here at Somerville Community Access Television.  My condolences to his family and friends.  Keep him close in your thoughts, time will ease the sorrow.

So very sorry to hear about Doug. I was lucky enough to be trained by him at Boston Free Radio. And I absolutely loved his radio show. My heart goes out to his family and friends.

I am so sorry to hear of Doug's passing.  He really helped me reignite my passion for independent radio as he patiently instructed me at Boston Free Radio.  And although he leaves a huge void I'm sure where ever his spirit lands, he'll have an amazing playlist.

I met Doug in the 90s during one of the trips to England with Festival Tours and saw him for the last time in England in 2012.  He was one of the people I most enjoyed being with and talking with, and I send my most sincere condolences to his family.

My prayers and thoughts go out to his family.  You helped create a wonderful person and I thank you.  He showed me nothing but kindness and he will always be a part of our SCATV family.

Missing Doug. So sorry. Continuing to keep family and friends in supportive thoughts and prayers. So grateful to have known such a beautiful, kind, and gentle person. Will continue to miss him.
