

Born in New York City, NY, she was the daughter of William H. and Alice L. (McGovern) Meagher.
She worked as a secretary for Caltex, Guidance Associates and then General Precision Laboratories.
She enjoyed Historical research, flea markets, crocheting and researching old houses to determine ownership, going as far back as possible. She was a member of the Bridge Club in Pleasantville, NY.
Edith was a member of The Warner Historical Society, the Warner Women’s Club and New Hampton Historical Society. In 1979 Edith published what is known as the “Missing Map of Warner”. This well-researched map outlines the original lot numbers and property lines for original grantees of Warner (Amesbury). In addition, in 1990 Edith fulfilled a lifelong dream and published her first novel entitled, The House on Blackberry Lane.
Survivors include her children, Susan McCullough and her former husband David of New Milford, CT; Denise Feak and her husband John of Liverpool, NY; Arthur J. (Jerry) Mimnaugh and his wife Mary Jo of Pleasanton,CA; Nancy Elliott and her husband Harold of New Hampton, NH; and John P. Mimnaugh and his wife Darleen G. of Warner, NH; and her brother Richard Meagher of Lynbrook, NY; her sister Jean Ulitz of Tamworth, NH; nine grandchildren, Arthur Jerome Mimnaugh III and his wife Jamie, Kelly Griffiths and her husband Tom, Laura Stokes and her husband Justin, Christopher McCullough and his wife Kristen, Jesse McCullough and his wife Julie, Jamie McCullough, Jason Feak and his wife Lucianna, Danika Tarr and her husband Jackson and Luke Elliott; and nine great grandchildren. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was predeceased by her husband Arthur J. Mimnaugh, Sr., brother William Meagher and his wife Eileen, sister-in-law Gail Meagher, brother-in-law Bernard Ulitz and by her daughter Edith Mary Mimnaugh.
Calling hours will be held from 5pm -7pm on Sunday, October 23, 2011 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, October 24, 2011 at 10am at Christ the King Parish, St Peter Church, 135 North State Street, Concord.
Burial will follow at Pine Grove Cemetery in Warner.
