

Born in Danvers, MA on February 4, 1938, he was the son of the late Edward T. and Mary L. (Grondon) O’Brien.
He grew up in Salem, MA and moved to Derry, NH in the 1960s where he met his wife, Vicki L. Powers.
He was a race car driver and mechanic before joining the US Navy. He later bought 56 acres of land in Chichester, NH and built his business, Chichester Auto, from the ground up, while he continued to race.
He is loved and will be missed by all.
He is survived by his sister Marie S. Vernazzaro; his wife Vicki L. O’Brien; his two sons Edward T. and Patrick A. O’Brien; his daughter Kelley R. Ravenelle and her husband Nathan E.; and his six grandsons and one granddaughter.
Calling hours will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2014 from 5pm-8pm at the Bennett Funeral Home 3 Church Street Chapel (The Brick Building) in Concord.
A celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home on Monday, April 14, 2014 at 11am. Military honors will be given at Calvary Cemetery in Concord following the services.
