

Liz was born September 20, 1941 and grew up in the town of Hopedale, Massachusetts the daughter of Lewis and Marion (Mason) Gaskill and sibling to 8 brothers and sisters. She graduated from Hopedale High School in 1959. While attending she participated in sports, drama and student committees. Liz married James E Isbell and had a daughter, Desiree in 1964 and son, Brent in 1969.
Liz held occupation as a clerk, receptionist, and typist at numerous Army facilities. She moved to southern New Hampshire with her family in 1975. She continued working at data technology companies then the Manchester NH VA Hospital, Human Resources until she retired in 2006.
Liz enjoyed reading, practicing her daily devotions and prayers, sewing and knitting and crocheting. She was a longtime resident of Concord and Contoocook NH. Liz enjoyed visiting the seacoast particularly Wells Maine and mid coast areas of Maine. She loved spending time with her granddaughter and nieces and nephews. She was a fixture of the Deer Meadow community in Contoocook, NH since 2008, where she often walked and sat in the yard greeting and talking to neighbors. She loved her home and gardens; visited frequently by birds and other wildlife, which brought her joy.
Liz’s son, Brent predeceased her in 1983, as did three brothers, Lewis Gaskill, William Gaskill and Earl Gaskill, and sisters, Alice Slavin and Claire Snyder. Liz is survived by her daughter, Desiree James and granddaughter, Kendall James-Ferguson; sisters, Eleanor Evers and Glady Anderberg and brother, Harold Gaskill and numerous nieces and nephews
