

Elizabeth “Liz” Terrell passed away on July 12, 2025, at Pine Rock Manor after several months of declining health. She was two months shy of turning 91 years old. She was born on September 15, 1934, in New Rochelle, New York, the daughter of Lester S. and Estella (Finley) Emerson. She graduated from New Rochelle High School in 1952, moved to East Concord, NH in 1953 and has been a resident ever since.
Liz worked at the New Hampshire- Vermont Cattle Breeding Association from 1953-1960. After which she remained home to work on the dairy farm with her husband. She was a member of the New Hampshire Farm Bureau Federation, Inc. She enjoyed the outdoors, working with animals, knitting and crocheting and was a volunteer at Concord Hospital and Shaker Road School for 15 years.
Liz was predeceased by her husband of 42 years, Harry R. Terrell, Jr., two brothers, Wallace Emerson of Hooksett, NH, Lester Emerson Jr. of Warren, Maine and two sisters, Jeanne E. Johnson, of Mount Holly NC and Grace S. Hammond of North Hampton, NH.
Survivors are nieces and nephews including Elizabeth Clark of Contoocook, NH, Evelyn Pierce of Hooksett, Daniel Terrell of Dunbarton, Richard Terrell of Bow, and David Terrell of Concord. Also, special friends, the Lewis family; Brian, Maryann, Lindze and Michael Hardy and their kids, Lucas, Brinkley, and Declan and Nicole and Antoine Stuppard and their kids, Kellan and Jaxson all of Concord.
We would like to thank the staff at Pine Rock Manor for their care and compassion during Elizabeth’s last few months of life but especially during her final days.

There are no calling hours. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Pine Grove Cemetery, Cemetery Street, in East Concord on Saturday, July 19, 2025.
