
Ernest F. Robinson, 92, died Sunday, March 6, 2011 at Hyder Family Hospice House in Dover.
Born in Mandan, North Dakota, he was the son of Charles P. and Alvina (Voitel) Robinson.
He worked as an electrical engineer for Babcock and Wilcox. He was a member of the Sigma Tau Honorary Society.
Mr. Robinson was a member of the American Legion and served in the US Army in World War II.
He enjoyed teaching Bible School, had a knack for gardening and loved being outdoors. He always helped others in need and thought learning something new was a reward in itself.
Survivors include his wife of 66 years Jalma (Brill) Robinson of Dover; his son Edward Robinson and his wife Patricia of Pittsfield; two grandsons, Michael Robinson of Danbury and Steven Robinson and his wife Tonia of Epsom; and two great grandchildren Chandler and Tatum.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 11, 2011 at 11am at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
Burial will take place at 12:30pm at the NH State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. 50, Memphis, TN 38101-9929.
