Evelyn Lottie Welch

CONCORD-Evelyn L. Welch, 83, of Curtice Ave. in Concord, died peacefully after a short stay at Presidential Oaks on Monday, Oct. 3rd. She was surrounded by family and friends. Evelyn was a lifelong resident of Concord. She was born to William E. King and Eva M. (Colby) King. She graduated from St. John's High School, class of 1951. Evelyn retired from a long career at Blue Cross/Blue Shield. After her retirement, she worked part-time at Walmart for 10 years. Her greatest joy in life was her family.

Members of her family include her three children, Carol Welch and partner, George Yeazitzis, Scott Welch and wife, Anne and Jeremy Welch and wife, Jessica, all of Concord; three grandchildren, Derek Welch and wife, Melanie of Boscawen, NH, Gabriel Welch of Palmetto, Florida, and Zachary Welch of Concord, NH.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, October 6th from 4pm-7pm at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main St. Concord, NH. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, October 7th, 1:30pm at Christ the King Parish (St. John's), 72 S. Main St, Concord, NH followed by a committal service at Blossom Hill Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Concord Regional VNA in her name.
