Born on November 5, 1984, in Arlington, Virginia, Gayle spent most of her life in the Concord area. A 2002 graduate of Concord Senior High School, she went on to study at NHTI, where she pursued her passion for justice and earned a degree in Paralegal Studies. Following her graduation in 2008, Gayle built a successful career working in patent law at several respected firms across New Hampshire and Massachusetts.
Gayle was a remarkably kind and generous soul, always the first to offer a helping hand. During her teenage years, she shared her warmth and energy by teaching Sunday School, planting seeds of compassion and curiosity in young hearts. At family gatherings, she was often found surrounded by children, getting down on their level—offering them not just attention, but genuine connection. She had a gift for making people feel seen and valued, no matter their age.
An avid puzzle enthusiast, Gayle found joy and challenge in completing the most complex puzzles she could get her hands on. She also loved to travel, constantly seeking out new places to explore and share, often through unforgettable food and drink experiences. But more than anything, Gayle cherished time spent with her loved ones. Whether at a fine restaurant, a cozy bonfire, or simply relaxing in someone’s living room, she found happiness in connection and shared moments.
Gayle was an extraordinary mother, a devoted aunt, a loving sister, a respected colleague, and a loyal friend. Her bright smile and infectious laugh lit up every room she entered and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
She leaves behind her cherished son, Grayson Denningham of Concord; her parents, Allan MacDougall and Lisa Denningham of Concord; and her sisters, Sarah Keyes of Braintree, MA, and Paige Donaldson of Chichester, NH. She is also survived by her beloved nieces and nephews, and a wide circle of extended family and friends who were deeply touched by her presence.
