A graduate of Schuylerville, NY Central School and Syracuse University College of Business Administration. He was a United States Air Force fighter pilot and a pilot for US Airways for thirty years.
He is survived by his wife, Lois; children, Laura, Tony, Chris and Steve (Lisa); sister, Jeanine Richards of Ballston Spa, NY and seven grandchildren.
Private memorial services will take place next spring at the NH State Veterans Cemetery and Green Bay, Ontario, Canada.
Donations may be made in his memory to North Country Animal League, Morristown, VT or Pope Memorial SPCA in Concord, NH.
