Gerda Jean Wonson

Born in Glweiwitz, Germany on November 14, 1931, she was the daughter of Irmgard and Max Woitalla.

In 1948 she came to America and became an American Citizen in 1951. She served in the Women’s Army Corp from 1952-54 stationed at the Pentagon. She worked in Southern NH typesetters for 16 years as a bookkeeper and in 1970 owned and operated Concord Answering Service until 1989.

She was predeceased by her husband; Peter G. Wonson in 2009 and her step-son Jeffrey in 2022.

Survivors include her step-daughter Debby Wonson of Concord, NH.
