Gigi was born in Montreal in 1934 to Paul and Blanche (Gauthier) Bougie. On March 6, 1952, she married Raynold Perrault. In 1963, they moved with their four children to St. Johnsbury, Vermont, where they made their home and raised their family.
Upon retirement, Gigi and Raynold moved to Florida, then Arizona, and later Virginia, before eventually returning to Concord.
Gigi was a devoted wife and mother whose greatest joy was caring for her family. An excellent cook, she brought love and warmth to the table and took pride in looking after those she loved. When she wasn’t busy with her family, she enjoyed reading and writing letters. An avid letter writer, she lovingly maintained lifelong friendships with her childhood friends, Janine and Huguette, keeping those special connections alive through the years.
Known for her kind and gentle nature, Gigi touched the lives of those around her with her quiet warmth, thoughtfulness, and unwavering devotion to her loved ones. Her family was the center of her world, and the care she gave them will remain a lasting part of her legacy.
Gigi was predeceased by her husband, Raynold, by 12 years, as well as all four of her siblings.
She leaves behind her four children, seven grandchildren, and ten great-grandchildren, all of whom will cherish her memory and the love she shared throughout her life.
Gigi will be remembered for her gentle spirit, her wonderful cooking, her treasured friendships, and, above all, the deep and abiding love she had for her family. She will be dearly missed and forever held in the hearts of those who loved her.
