Gloria D. Calley

She was born on January 6, 1947 in Concord, NH the Daughter of George and Catherine (Abbott) Mills.

She was predeceased by both of her Parents George and Catherine (Abbott) Mills & her Niece Dee O’Connor. She is survived by her Husband of 48 years Skip Calley and her 4 Sons, Scott Calley & his wife Deana of Laconia, Jeremy Calley of Concord, Todd Calley of Concord and Eric Calley & his Wife Shelley of Concord. She is survived by 11 Grand Children, Rebekah, Nathan, Todd, Arrisa, Joshua, Travis, Dustin, Heather, Caitlyn, Zachary & Kellsey & 2 Great Grand Daughters Laila of Concord, NH & Layla of Vermont. She is also survived by her 4 Brothers, Gerald Mills & his wife Eileen of Austin, Minnesota, Michael Mills & his Wife Hester of Concord, NH, Mark Mills & his Wife Mary of Newbury, NH, Brian Mills & his Wife Stephanie of Concord, NH. She had a special relationship with her Niece Jodi Christopher & her Daughter Cami Christopher. She is also survived by several Nieces & Nephews. Her best friend Cathy Woods & life long friend Gail Osgood.Gloria also leaves behind her long time companion Lindsey, Her 15 year old Pomeranian as well as 3 Cats. She was a lover of Dogs, Cats & many other animals having cared for many over her life time.

Gloria always put her Family first. She was kind & caring & always had a smile & pleasant attitude. She had many good friends. Gloria worked at The Granite Ledges from 2004-2009 when she retired due to her illness. Before that She owned & managed her own business on Main Street in Concord, NH called The Captains Pleasure. She spent most of the 1970’s working at Sprague Electric.

Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, December 8 from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord. A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, December 9 at 11:00 A.M. at Grace Capital Church, 524 Pembroke Street, Pembroke.
