
Mr. Hoyt was born in Penacook, NH on November 26, 1928, the son of the late Wallace C. and Winnie (Morrill) Hoyt. He was a lifelong resident of Penacook.
Harlan graduated from Penacook High School in 1946 and The New Hampton School in 1947. He was a veteran and served in the United States Army during the Korean War. For 60 years, he was an owner of Hoyt Electrical Instruments Works, Inc.
Family members include; his wife of 58 years, Margaret M. Hoyt, of Penacook, NH; two sons, Timothy Hoyt and his wife, Carol, of Baton Rouge, LA; Thomas Hoyt and his wife, Kim, of West Lebanon, NH; one grandson, Ryan Hoyt of Plymouth, NH; and a brother, Weldon Hoyt, of Penacook, NH. Mr. Hoyt was predeceased by two brothers, Stanley and Douglas Hoyt.
SERVICES: There are no calling hours. A memorial gathering will be held at The Bennett Funeral Home, 3 Church Street, in Concord, on Saturday, October 26, from 9:00 – 10:00 AM. A memorial service will be held in the funeral home chapel at 10:00 AM. Committal prayers and interment will follow at Penacook Calvary Cemetery, in Penacook.
