

Heather Ann Mamos (nee Ekholm) known for her beautiful heart, and joyful soul passed away on June 26th, 2023 surrounded by family, she was 51. She was born on October 22nd, 1971 in Bangor, Maine. She was the beloved wife of Christopher Mamos; loving mother of Lauren Lamberger, Ian Mamos, Allison Mamos, and step-mother of Sean Mamos; dear sister of Stacia Russell, and Colleen Gauntt; devoted daughter of David Ekholm; she was preceded by her devoted mother Stella Sherman; grandparents Conrad and Celia Ekholm, Rosemary and Arthur Drinkwater; and her former husband Curt Lamberger.
Heather retired from the Air Force after 20 years of service, She received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology at the University of New Hampshire following her service, She became a Physician Recruiter following her education and was employed at Boston Children's Hospital.
Heather was an avid scrapbooker, and beloved Sunday School teacher at Concordia Lutheran Church, she remained active by running in local road races, and walking her beloved boxer puppy Kobe; she most enjoyed spending time at her work of art, The Camp, on Schoodic Lake. Where she enjoyed her fondest childhood memories and created a legacy for her own children.
Relatives and friends are invited to call on Friday eve June 30th, from 5-7 PM at Bennett Funeral Home 209 N Main St, Concord, NH 03301. Funeral Service will be on July 1st at 1 PM, at Concordia Lutheran Church, 211 N Main St, Concord, NH 03301.
Burial will be on July 2nd at Evergreen Cemetery in Milo ME at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Heather’s name to Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, PO Box 204 Norwood, New Jersey 07648.
