Hope Thomas

She was born on October 17, 1937 to Charles and Eva Latham in Concord, NH. At the age of 7 she was adopted by Athol and Gladys Hoit also of Concord, NH.

Hope graduated from Concord High School class of 1955. She went to work for the Christian Mutual Life Insurance Company and continued there until her first son was born. Having an “old school” philosophy she elected to be a stay at home mother and did not return to the work place.

Hope married Robert Thomas on May 17, 1957. They have two sons, Wayne Thomas of Redondo Beach, CA and Glen Thomas with wife, Julie in Forest, VA. The Virginia Family includes two granddaughters, Elizabeth Thomas of Forest, VA and Ashley Foster with husband, Elisha also of Forest, VA.

Hope was predeceased by two brothers, Robert Latham of Inglewood, FL and Steven Latham of Concord, NH, she is survived by a brother Richard Latham and several nieces and a nephew.
