Born December 31, 1943, in Henniker, NH, Jackie was the daughter of Edwin and Margaret (Moody) Mole.
Jackie graduated from Hopkinton High School in 1961. That same year, she was elected Miss Hopkinton, representing Hopkinton High School in the Concord Kiwanis Club Trade Fair where she was crowned Miss Kiwanis Trade Fair Queen 1961.
A devoted mother and homemaker, Jackie poured her heart and soul into raising and nurturing her family. Her love was the foundation of our home, where she created a haven of warmth and kindness, and the delicious aroma of her coveted chocolate chip cookies was always in the air. Her love extended far beyond her family. She was a cherished friend to many, known for her genuine kindness and unconditional love.
Jackie was the embodiment of grace and strength and had a natural gift for making people laugh. Her sense of humor prevailed even through her final days; her beautiful smile and joyful spirit were a gift to all who knew her.
Jackie’s greatest wish was for everyone to be happy, and she did everything in her power to make others feel valued and loved. She was in her element when surrounded by family and friends, welcoming everyone into her home with open arms and a warm hug. Her chocolate chip cookies were legendary, and nothing brought her more joy than whipping up a double batch for a gathering or surprising someone with a sweet birthday treat.
To anyone who ever asked for her recipe, she would playfully dismiss the idea, insisting that she didn’t have one.
Our hearts are broken but will always overflow with love and gratitude for all that she gave us. She will be deeply missed, but her memory and spirit will forever be a guiding light.
Jackie is survived by her husband of 53 years, Jon Ruggles; her sister, Maureen Gutter of Port St. Lucy, FL; her children, Cheryl Addario-Denver and husband Stony Denver of North Port, FL; Lynda (Addario) Megan and husband Jay Megan of Annapolis, MD; Toni Marie Addario and husband Dale Walter of Boston, MA; Christopher Ruggles of Concord, NH; Jacqueline (Jackie) Sophia Ruggles of Concord, NH; Earl Laliberte of Concord, NH; Sharon (Ruggles) Gilmore and husband Freddy Gilmore of Whitney, TX; and Margery (Ruggles) Harner and partner Sharon Wood of Whitney, TX.
