Jimmy was a man whose presence could never be overlooked. He had a heart bigger than most and a way of making people feel seen, loved, and valued. If someone needed help, Jimmy was there—without hesitation, without question, and often before they even had to ask. His loyalty to those he loved was unwavering, and his generosity knew no limits.
To know Jimmy was to know laughter. He was known for his quick wit, playful sarcasm, and ability to bring a smile to someone's face even on their hardest days. He loved teasing the people he cared about most, never out of meanness, but because making others laugh brought him joy. His sense of humor was one of the many gifts he shared with the world.
Jimmy found happiness in life's simple pleasures. He loved spending his time fishing, mudding, four-wheeling, working on vehicles, riding motorcycles, and taking long drives with no destination in mind. He had a passion for adventure and a love for the open road, but nowhere was he happier than when he was spending time with his children.
Above all else, Jimmy was a devoted father and family man. His children were the center of his world and the source of his greatest pride and joy. The love he had for them was immeasurable, and every moment spent with them was treasured. His family was his purpose, and his love for them will continue to be felt for generations to come.
Jimmy leaves behind his wife, Alison Zanni, and his cherished children, Caleigh, Ava, Bentley, Emberleigh, and Deino, who will carry his love, strength, and memory with them always. He is also survived by his father, James Zanni Sr.; his sister, Sarah Nasuti; his brothers, Travis Szanto and Ed Hill; his grandparents, Boldizsar Szanto, Sandra Szanto, Suzanne DeWitt, and Wayne DeWitt; his nieces, Ameilya Dragon, Emma Joy, and Kylee Joy; and his nephew, Calvin Fothergill, along with many extended family members and friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness.
Jimmy was preceded in death by his mother, Lisa Szanto, whom he loved dearly.
The loss of Jimmy leaves a space that can never truly be filled. Yet those who loved him find comfort in the memories he leaves behind—the laughter he shared, the countless acts of kindness he offered, the adventures he embraced, and the unconditional love he gave so freely. His legacy is not measured in years, but in the lives he touched and the love he left behind.
Though our hearts ache in his absence, we will carry Jimmy with us always—in every laugh, every story shared, every ride down an open road, and every moment spent with those we love. He was deeply loved, and he will be deeply missed. His memory will live on forever in the hearts of all who knew him.
