

Janet Maxfield, Brown of Loudon passed away at her home on February 4th , surrounded by her loving family, she was 84 years old. Janet was the daughter of Amy Storrs, Maxfield and Ralph H. Maxfield. Born on June 27, 1931 in Loudon at Amity Hall.
Janet was the wife of the late Robert L. Brown. She is survived by her 6 children, Pamela Morabito and her companion Fred Perron, Robert Colarusso Jr. and his wife Dawn, Deanna Tranfaglia and her husband James, Gregory Colarusso and his wife Diane, Amy Shepard and her husband Tracy and Katy Maleski and her husband John. Janet also had five step children, Bobbie Powers, Marilyn Munts, Richard Brown, Curt Brown and Michael Brown. Janet had 26 grandchildren, seventeen great grandchildren and many, nieces and nephews. Wow!
Janet was one of seven children, one sister Violet Woodsome, brothers, Edwin Maxfield, Roy Maxfield, Ronald Maxfield and Roger Maxfield. She was predeceased by her brother Ralph Maxfield.
First and foremost, Janet Loved Life! She was a Friend, a Mom and a kind and gentle soul who always had time to share a story or listen to a problem, no matter how large or small. She Loved to travel and visited many faraway places, but was always glad to be home. She was a wonderful cook, raised a big garden every summer, loved to sew and crochet, and always had a pot of coffee on the stove.
Calling hours will be from 4-7:00 pm at the Bennett Funeral Home on Sunday February 7th. The funeral service will be on February 9th at the Faith Community Bible Church in Loudon NH. A graveside service will be held in the spring.
Donations may also be made to the Loudon Food Pantry in Janet’s name.
