

Daughter of Frank and Gladys Wheeler, she was born in Portland ME. A graduate of CHS class of 1954 and continued on to Pierce Secretarial College. She worked for Judge Donald Matson & C Murry Sawyer at the Concord District Court from 1954-1956. Widow of James B Schadlick Sr. who died in 1997. She and her husband owned and operated NEOPCO Signs Inc. in Concord until his death, which is now operated by Glen Schadlick.
Janet is pre-deceased by her son, James B. Schadlick Jr., of Tempe AZ. and is survived by her son, Glen Schadlick and his partner Kathy Ahlin of Concord NH, and Gretchen Schadlick of Tempe AZ. Other survivors include her grandchildren; Amanda Caron, husband Zack Caron and their son Jordan Caron of Warwick RI, Olivia Schadlick of Manchester NH, Jenifer Lawless, husband Greg Lawless, and their children Andrew and Vera Lawless of Waltham Ma. Sisters Frances Wheeler Hedges and husband Vince Hedges of NV, Laurie Gilbert and her husband Bruce of ME, a brother, Alfred Ferland of ME and nieces and nephews.
Janet was a member of St. Paul’s Church. She will be sadly missed by all of her family and friends. A special thank you to the care team at Concord Hospital 4E and staff at Havenwood Heritage Heights for taking care of her.
A visitation will be held from 10am to 11am on Friday, January 6 at Bennett Funeral Home located at 209 N. Main St, Concord with a Memorial Service to begin at 11am. A burial will follow immediately at Blossom Hill Cemetery 207 N. State St, Concord.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Janet's memory may be made to National Multiple Sclerosis Society.
