I first met Stan in 1956 at his speed shop on South St. and have been friends ever since. When attending vintage events at NHMS in Loudon I was not surprised that he knew most of the drivers buy there first names and they knew Stan. It is said that he who dies with the most toys wins. I think  he who dies with the most friends wins. Stan you WON!  RIP my friend.

Carol, Dick and I are very saddened to hear of Stan's passing. Dick has told me so many great stories about Stan and the cars they both loved. I am so blessed to have gotten to know Stan and you as well and enjoyed our trips to Lime Rock Conn for the races with both of you and the Sunday's that you both would stop by our antique shop. 
Dick and I know he is in the best place he could be and smiling at all of us.

Stan was a life-long friend to many. We shared many good times and some great stories over the years. . . . Sad that that has come to an end.

We were sad to hear of Stan's passing.  Al will never forget the ride Stan gave him in his 1965  cobra 50years ago when Al was a paperboy to Stan's business D&H automotive.  Carol, our thoughts and prayers are with you.

I came to know Stan through performing jazz on Mondays nights at the Barley House in 2000. I quickly came to realize that he was an extremely knowledgeable jazz fan, who had heard many of the greats in person.  He really appreciated and supported live jazz in and around Concord and just about always turned up at any performances he knew about. I first met Stan in 1964 when I bought my first car, a 1948 Ford 2 door sedan. I was told if I needed any parts to fix it, he was the guy to see. Since then he has been a good friend and mentor in working on old cars and racing. He introduced me to hill climbing at Mount Ascutney in 1971, a hobby I still am active in today. As with all friendships you have gaps in your getting together which I now wish had not been so long between times. He's in very good company.......
