

CONCORD - Joseph Matthew Reda, 79 passed away after years of living with several health issues, with his wife by his side on November 6, 2015. He was born in Cleveland Ohio on February 15, 1936. His job relocated him and his family to New Hampshire in 1976 where they spent the rest of his years. Joe leaves behind his loving wife of 58 years Francine "Chic" (Vartorella) Reda, his three daughters Lisa Reda and her fiance Bobby Gullage and his children Sara, Bobby, Tasha and her husband Ricky. Patti Reda and her daughter Nicole and Laura(Reda)Brancato and her son Dominic. He is predeceased by his parents Frank and Rachel Reda along with his in laws Patrick and Jean Vartorella. His sister Joanne Reda and brother Ralph Reda. Survived by his sister Josephine Andrews and brother John Reda and nieces and nephews. He served in the U.S. Army for two years then married. He was a very hard-working devoted husband and father. He felt blessed for being chosen to be a Eucharistic minister and lector at St. John's. He also spent many hours volunteering at St. Vincent de Paul's food pantry. He enjoyed playing golf and softball which led him to become volunteer coach for his granddaughters softball team. His biggest enjoyment in his retirement years was being involved in his grandchildren lives in any way possible. We want him to be remembered for providing guidance and much love to his family. Graveside services will be held at the NH Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen on In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the charity of your choice or the Pope Memorial SPCA in Concord NH for the love Joe had for his fury grandchildren Max and Boogie.
A graveside committal service will be held on Friday, November 13 at 1:30 P.M. at the New Hampshire State Veterans Cemetery in Boscawen.
