Joyce was so amazing and always worked so hard to help the unwanted dogs at the shelter. She saved the life of little Rusty, who was so scared and reluctant to interact with humans. When I came to visit him, I was so overjoyed to see the beautiful life and confidence that Joyce was able to give Rusty. Simply by offering him love and time.
Joyce talked to me mostly about our shelter pups, but also her husband and son, and extended family. She loves you all greatly, that was evident. My thoughts are with you at such a difficult time.

Joyce was such a kind & giving soul, always inspiring me to keep up with my art. When I worked at the humane society I had met her while she volunteered & she was always so passionate for what she did, it was inspirational. She could talk my ear off but I loved it & I’m beyond heartbroken that I can’t talk to you one more time. I am keeping your family in my thoughts during this time. I love you Joyce Coleman. Heaven gained another angel. ❤️
