Lance passed away peacefully in his sleep on 10/27/2021 after a short illness, surrounded by family. We are thankful for the time we had with him this past week - taking turns by his bedside, speaking and praying with him and letting him know we were there.
His life had the great purpose of touching people everywhere he was with his infectious smile and bright blue eyes. Lance had a great sense of humor and would often be found chuckling about something when he was being stubborn and knew there was nothing you could do about it. Lance loved listening to music and would dance and rock to the music, it was one of his greatest passions. He also enjoyed hearing his mother’s voice over the phone and would smile and laugh when she called and light up when she visited. Lance enjoyed going out on one on ones with staff shopping, going out to the movies or out for a sweet treat. Lance loved his sweets and would take those over anything else.
Lance will be greatly missed by his biological family, as well as his family and caretakers at Riverside/Keystone.
May you rest in peace Lance, you were such a gentle angel.
He is survived by his mother, Donna Callmeyer, brother Scott and his wife Patty, sister Heidi and her husband Pete, sister Dawn and her husband Steve and brother Nathanael and his wife April, and 15 nephews and nieces, and 1 great niece.
A Calling Hour at 10am, with service at 11am, will be held on November 12, 2021, at The First Congregational Church of Pembroke, 301 Pembroke St, Pembroke NH 03275. Immediately following the service, burial will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Buck St, Pembroke.
