Louis died November 24, at Pleasant View Center after a short decline.
He was born September 3, 1921, in Gardner’s Creek, New Brunswick, Canada, to Jenny (Reed) Taber and Charles O. Taber. He was married for 55 years to Pauline Helen (Rockey) Taber who predeceased him. They had one daughter Diana. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law Robert L. McElwee, granddaughters Maren Bicknell and Lauren Lange, and four great-grandchildren.
Although he has lived in Gilmanton for 9 years, he spent most of his life in Cleveland, Ohio working for Monroe Tool and the Danly Corporation. He served In Panama during WWII.
Friends may call at his home Saturday, December 5, between 2-4 pm to celebrate his life.
