Louise B. Davis

She was born March 27, 1919 in Laconia, NH, the daughter of Frank A. and Gertrude C. Barlow and lived most of her life in the Penacook and Boscawen area.

She was a graduate of Laconia High School the class of 1937. She was employed by the Dept. of Safety and The NH State Police for 27 years, retiring in 1970.

She was an active member of the Boscawen Congregational Church; Past Matron and 52 year member of the Priscilla Chapter #51 O.E.S. of Boscawen. She also was the Grand Electa in 1968. She was a member of the Boscawen Ladies Aid.

In 1987 she married the love of her life Richard H. Davis (deceased 1998) and has a son Robert A. Davis and his wife Betty; A grandson, Bruce A. Davis and his wife Becky and three beautiful great grandchildren, Emily, Lily and Ben all living in Boscawen. She also has a step-son and two step-grandsons that live in Epsom. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by Husbands Milton Pearson, Ellsworth Philbrick and Richard H. Davis; a brother Austin C. Barlow and a sister Marion Fulton.

She had a wonderful life, spending her winters in Fl. and loved being with her family and friends.

A calling hour will be held Wednesday, August 17, 2011 from 10 to 11AM at the Bennett Funeral Home Church Street Chapel. Funeral services will follow at 11AM at the funeral home. Burial will be held at the Woodlawn Cemetery in Penacook.
