Marion Veronica (Thompson) Murray died unexpectedly at her home in Concord, NH, on January 26, 2018, at the age of 86.

Marion is survived by her children Dennis Murray of Framingham, MA, Suzann Beauregard of Bow, NH, grandchildren Shery Rice of Oregon, John Rice, III, of California, Dana and Reagan Beauregard of Bow, NH, and great granddaughter Emma Cox, of Oregon. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley Murray and daughter Deborah Ann Perkins.

Marion was born on February 23, 1931 in South Boston, MA, to Clarence Thompson and Catherine (Dooley) Thompson. She graduated from East Bridgewater High School in 1948, and shortly thereafter married Stanley Murray. After moving to South Easton, MA, Marion began working for Knapp Shoes, in Brockton, MA.

In her retirement, Marion loved reading suspense novels, ballroom dancing, swimming, and spending time with her friends and family. If Marion was not singing Irish songs, she loved talking about her grandchildren.

Services are scheduled for Tuesday, February 6, 2018 at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord, NH, with a calling hour at 11:00, a celebration of life service at 12:00, and a reception to follow at 1:00. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Marion's life.

A week or so ago I took my two granddaughters to the library at Cobblestone. Marion was there and asked for a hug. Both girls hugged her and she was happy. I will keep that memory in my pocket.
