It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved Pamela Jean Dunn, who departed this world on September 16, 2023, just shy of her 74th birthday. Born on September 27, 1949, Pamela was a beacon of love, strength, and creativity that illuminated the lives of all who were fortunate to know her.
Pamela's life was a testament to the depth of love one can have for family. Married to Michael Dunn for an incredible 55 years, their enduring love was the bedrock upon which a beautiful family was built. Together, they raised five wonderful children: Marci, Allison, Shelby, Martin, and Elizabeth. Through the years, Pamela's family blossomed further, as she welcomed 16 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren into the world.
While her role as a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend was central to her life, Pamela was also celebrated for her innate creative spirit. She possessed an unparalleled ability to breathe life into art, crafts, and numerous imaginative endeavors. Her creations, much like her, were unique and resonated with beauty and meaning. Through her artistic pursuits, Pamela left an indelible imprint not only on the quilts, crafts, and spaces she adorned but also on the hearts and souls of those she touched. Beyond her tangible creations, Pamela's enduring legacy lies in her steadfast strength, her dignified reserve, and her innate gift of truly listening.
In celebrating Pamela's life, we find solace in knowing that while she may no longer be with us in the physical realm, her spirit continues to shine brightly in the lives of her loved ones. We remember her not with sadness, but with gratitude for the moments we shared, the lessons she imparted, and the love she gave.
The Dunn family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks to all who have reached out with words of comfort, shared memories, and expressions of sympathy. It is evident that Pamela's light touched countless lives, and her memory will be treasured always.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests considering a donation to The Hospice House of Concord NH or a charity that supports arts and crafts for children, keeping alive Pamela’s passion for fostering creativity.
