Pat was born in Concord, NH, December 10th, 1936 to John and Elma (Wallace) Boland. She was married to the love of her life, Robert R. Malcolm on March 30th, 1957.
Pat worked as a secretary for several years at Merrimack County Nursing Home and NH Farm Bureau. In 1978 she and her husband purchased Bradley’s Pizza where she worked until Bob’s passing in 2013.
Pat and Bob raised their five children in Boscawen. During this time they were very active in the Boscawen community. As a member of the Boscawen Congregational Church, she gave much of her time to church suppers. When her sons were young, she was den mother for Cub Scouts. Pat was a lifelong member of Tri Amity and Soriety Charters she very much enjoyed. She was also a member of Andover Lioness Club. Pat and Bob were named Boscawen’s Citizens of the Year in 2007. Pat enjoyed spending time with her family and loved the many visits of her grandchildren. Her home was the family gathering place where everyone was welcome and loved.
Pat was predeceased by her husband Robert R. Malcolm in 2013; two sons, Jay P. Malcolm in 1984 and David W. Malcolm in 2017; and a sister Mary F. Kilgore in 2014.
She is survived by her children, Jana Dyer and her husband Grant of Penacook, Keith Malcolm and his wife Dena of Salisbury, Erin Malcolm and her husband Jon Rheamue of Londonderry; and daughter in law Pam Malcolm of Boscawen; 14 grandchildren; and 19 great grandchildren. She is survived by her brother John Boland and his wife Joann of Nashua, NH.
There will be no visiting hours. A memorial service will be held at the Boscawen Congregational Church on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at 11AM.
