

Born in Medford Massachusetts on March 16, 1939, Pattie was the daughter of John and Adelaide Ricker. Pattie graduated Medford High School in 1957. A talented singer, she studied voice at the Boston Conservatory of Music. Also a skilled writer, she wrote columns for the Medford Mercury and Maine’s Courier-Gazette. Pattie worked for many years as a police dispatcher and for the State of New Hampshire as a 911 operator. She was a true adventurer who was never afraid to take the road less traveled. Pattie loved her children and grandchildren, her pets and could cook the world’s best pot roast.
Pattie is predeceased by her parents and her brother, Peter Ricker. She is survived by four children, Nancy Deurell of Scottsdale Arizona, Gwen Deurell of Loudon, Erik Deurell and his wife Shideh of Burlington, Massachusetts, DD Travers and her husband Mike of Manchester and three grandchildren, Jessica Bennett of Scottsdale Arizona, Bobby Krieger of Loudon and Parisa Deurell of Burlington Massachusetts. She also left behind a loving sister-in-law Anne Deurell of Concord and her cat, Casper, who now resides in Loudon.
Visiting hours will be from 4:00 to 7:00 pm on Monday, July 23rd at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main Street, Concord. Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. on July 24th Oak Grove Cemetery, 230 Playstead Road, Medford, Massachusetts.
