

Paul was predeceased by his parents; his brother, Lt. Colonel William Strobridge; his first wife of 12 years, Winona (Phillips) McGonigle; his second wife of 53 years, Virginia E. (Costanzo) Strobridge; and his sons, Thomas McGonigle, William McGonigle, and James McGonigle.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda Higgins of Concord, NH, Deborah Simpson of Groveland, FL, and Kathy Bolduc, Lakeland, FL; his son, Stephen McGonigle; as well as many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who dubbed him "Uncle Peanut Butter".
Paul was a graduate of Concord High School, Class of 1952, and went on to earn a degree in Accounting from Concord Community College. He worked as an accountant throughout his career, holding positions at Wilson Beef, the State of New Hampshire, and dedicated 44 years working at H&R Block.
A devoted community member, Paul was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge. He enjoyed bowling, golf, cribbage, and horseshoes, and for many years he delighted children and families by playing Santa at the church fair and the Concord Christmas Parade.
Paul will be remembered for his warmth, humor, and dedication to both his family and his community... and for his love of peanut butter!
A calling hours for Paul will be held Thursday, September 25, 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N Main St, Concord, New Hampshire 03301. A memorial service will occur Friday, September 26, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, 209 N Main St, Concord, New Hampshire 03301. After a brief reception, the burial will occur Friday, September 26, 2025 at 1:00 PM at Blossom Hill Cemetery, 207 North State St., Concord, New Hampshire 03301.
