

She was the daughter of Leo R. and Clara (Mellon) Swain and was raised by Howard & Eva Hoit in Concord.
Mrs. Dyment was a 1947 Concord High School Graduate. She worked as a bookkeeper for Thompson and Hogue Distributers.
She enjoyed spending time with her family, stenciling and spending time at the beach.
Members of her family include, her husband Fred E. Dyment, Sr. of Concord; two daughters Susan Hampton and her husband Lloyd of Penn Yan, NY and Jane (Dyment) Shaban and her husband Steve of Barnstead, NH; two sons, Gary Dyment and his wife Charlene and Fred Dyment, Jr. and his wife Cherie, all of Concord; one sister, “Sally” Dorothea Dame of Laconia; seven grandchildren, Kendra and Brandon Hampton both of Penn Yan, NY, Kyle Dyment and his wife Tiffany of Elgin, South Carolina, Eric and Alex Dyment of Concord; Emily and Andrew Dyment of Concord; she was a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be held from 4pm to 7pm on Thursday, September 16, 2010 at the Bennett Funeral Home, 209 N. Main Street, Concord.
A celebration of her life will be held at Bennett Funeral Home on Friday, September 17, 2010 at 11am. Friends may call from 10am-11am.
Burial will follow at Blossom Hill Cemetery in Concord.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Parkinson’s Disease, 1501 NW 9th Ave, Miami, FL 33136, or to the charity of one’s choice.
