Rodney Moody

Rodney James Moody, 55, passed away on February 23, 2025, in Concord, New Hampshire. Born on December 27, 1969, in Laconia, New Hampshire. Rodney lived a life filled with music, adventure, and deep connections with those around him. Rodney was a free spirit with a kind and caring heart. He had an innate ability to offer advice when it was needed most and was always ready to lend an ear or a helping hand.

His gentle soul left an impression on everyone he met. Whether he was listening to music of all genres, spending time with friends and family, or traveling to new places, Rodney embraced life with enthusiasm and warmth.

He is remembered by His Mother Patricia A. Moody, His Grandmother Helen E. Peavey, his children, Rosalie Moody, Courtney Moody, and Rodney J. Moody Jr., his grandchildren, his cousins Mark J. Greenwood and Tina M. Kelly as well as his "Niece" Jyanna Brideau, who he shared a close bond with as his Earth Angel, Sara Curran, who works at the Friendly Kitchen, a great friend who he trusted her help with many things, along his mother-in-law Nancy Foote and father-in-law James Foote, and many cousins, nieces and nephews.

Rodney was predeceased by his Fiancé, Jessica L. Foote.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Rodney’s honor on March 29, 2025, at Center Point Church, located at 20 North State St., Concord, New Hampshire. The service will begin at 3:00 PM and conclude at 6:30 PM. Following the celebration, Attendees are welcome to walk from Center Point Church to the shelter in memory of Rodney Moody.

A candle light vigil will take place at the Concord Coalition to End Homeless at 238 North Main St. Concord, New Hampshire. Rodney’s presence brought light into the lives of many. May his memory continue to inspire kindness and joy in those who knew him.
