Concord-----It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Samantha “Sammie” Seper of Concord. Sammie passed away at her house on August 30, 2021, at the age of 33 surrounded by her mother and father who care for her deeply.

Sammie will be remembered for her sense of humor and the way she lit up any room she entered. Everyone that encountered her, from her friends at ISN to her friends at the Eagles club, could feel her compassion by just being in her presence. Sammie was everyone’s friend. And even though she had her fair share of medical issues, she always made empathy for others her priority. She was known for taking on any new challenges with tenacity and grace. Sam flourished in the ISN program (her last question before bed each night, “Do I have program tomorrow?”), and she got to enjoy so many activities such as bowling with friends, arts and crafts, and always making everyone laugh. She was always concerned about what everyone else was doing and that they were doing it correctly, it was her way of showing how much she loved people. Each year everyone always looked forward to seeing Sammie’s Halloween costume. They were always so creative, and she was truly the life of the party. She will be genuinely missed by her loved one and will forever hold a special place in our hearts. May God rest her soul.

Sammie is survived by, her loving parents, Mark and Susan Seper of Concord; two brothers, Dan Seper and significant other, Deanna Benedetto, James Seper and his significant other, Jessica Percell or Sarasota, FL; Uncle, Michael Griffin and his wife, Patricia; Aunt, Mary Griffin all of Concord; close family friends, Kellie Maron, Carol Welch, Kay Giles and countless other cousins and many other close friends. Sammie is predeceased by her paternal grandmother; Eleanor Seper; maternal grandparents James and Helen Griffin and Aunts, Katherine Deneault and Patricia “Pat-Pat” Griffin.

Calling hours will be held at Bennett Funeral Home, 209 North Main St. Concord on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m to 12:00 p.m Noon. A Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Samantha’s family has asked to have any donations instead sent to the Independent Services Network (ISN), PO Box 1111, Manchester, NH 03105.

ISN provides opportunities for disabled adults to participate in communal activities, such as bowling, art/crafts, bingo, ceramics, shopping, and field trips etc. All donations to ISN in Samantha’s honor will go towards funding shared activities for these clients who could not afford to participate.

Oh, Sammie Sue… What an absolute honor it was to have known you and to have worked with you for so many wonderful years. I’ll always remember your goofy sense of humor and how sassy you were (because Lord knows you were a sassy one). I hope you are at peace and are looking down on everyone who loved you. You always lit up any room you walked into and that’s no joke. You were an amazing woman and I’ll forever cherish the times we got to spend together.
Mark and Sue my deepest condolences to you. Your daughter was one of my favorite people at ISN and she will be deeply and sorely missed.

Susie Q: What a beautiful video tribute of Sammie. It’s so clear how much she was loved. As I watched, memories of the Summer Chas and I spent at your home washed over me, and how much fun I had with you! The pool (that I thought was so posh), and pennies on the train track (coolest thing ever). Thinking of you, as that tiny adorable girl with the huge grin, makes me smile. And in Sammie’s photos I can see that same brightness I remember in you. What a great Mum, and what a lucky girl Sammie was to have had you. I’m sending peace to you all. And of course, a huge squeeze across the years.

To the Seper family -

It was with deep sadness that we learned of Sammie's passing. Christina loved Sammie and looked forward to the various activities through ISN. Christina is going to miss her friend very much. We have decided to let Christina remember Sammie as she was, and therefore not attending the service but we want to extend our sincere condolences to you. Christina and Sammie could sit next to each other and each would laugh or know what the other was 'thinking' - to that end, we extend our prayers to you. May God grant His love and eternal rest to Sammie; His light will guide Sammie on with her enduring personality.
the Scavotto's - but especially Christina, with love.

Susan, Mark, Jimmy, Danny and Mary, I am so sorry for the loss of Sammie. Before Covid, we used to see each other almost daily at the mall. She was always the life of the mall whenever she was there. She would make everyone laugh and made sure we were all having a good day ❤️ May God hold her close and may she rest in heavenly peace.
