Samuel attended the Henniker Community School and John Stark Regional High School, where he graduated in 2021. He continued on in the post graduate program until 2024. Sam loved everything Harry Potter, music, birds, reading, puzzles, watching movies, listening to podcasts, sitting outside, and holding hands. He loved watching and going to live concerts, and was looking forward to attending many more with his mom.
Samuel spent time at his house doing “Deep dives” into music history and new genres, with his nurses, teachers and his mom. He loved building legos with his brother, watching movies, and most of all, watching him play sports. He looked forward to daily visits with his Grandma and Grandad.
Samuel was an avid New England Sports fan and a Nebraska Cornhusker. He represented them well, always wearing their apparel and rooting for his teams. Samuel will be remembered most of all for his smile, his strength, and his huge heart.
Samuel is survived by his mother Stephanie, father Randy, older brother Isaiah, sister in law Marianna, maternal grandparents Dennis and Sandy Schneider, paternal Nana Patricia Lovering, and cats Hank and Benny. Samuel is also survived by many important family members, friends, nurses, and caregivers, all of whom enriched his life and took extra special and loving care of him.
Samuel was predeceased by his beloved service dog Classy, his paternal grandfather Donald J. Lovering, and his cousin Gabriel E. Schneider. In addition, Samuel had four very special buddies awaiting his arrival.
Samuel's family would like to recognize the compassionate, thoughtful, and exceptional care that was provided by Boston Children's Hospital medical team over the course of his lifetime, but also particularly during these past several months.
